Ilaria Natali

I am a Visiting Professor of Economics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. 

Before joining UC3M, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toulouse School of Economics. I received my PhD in Economics from ECARES, Université Libre de Bruxelles, where I was also affiliated with the I3h.

My research lies at the intersection of Health Economics, Environmental Economics, and Industrial Organization, with a focus on pharmaceutical markets and health policy. My main interests include antimicrobial resistance, pharmaceutical innovation, drug regulation, and environmental determinants of health.

My project on air pollution and antimicrobial resistance was awarded a Seal of Excellence under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships by the European Commission (score: 91.2%).
